Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Transport Coordinator for a prestigious company based near Redhill and this could be you! Our client is offering a salary of up to £29k per annum.
As a Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for helping manage the continuous improvement and cost optimisation for the Transport Department.
Responsibilities include the continuous improvement of Route/Driver optimisation to ensure cost efficiency of vehicles/routes, oversee vehicle records, compile the drivers brief, performance assessments, accompany drivers to review performance.
It is essential that you can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in a fast-moving transport department.
- Demonstarte experience in co-ordination of multidrop vehicles.
- Geographical knowledge - strong understanding of London and its road routes.
- Adaptability - be able to adjust to change quickly.
- Excellent communication - written and verbal.
- Indepth knowledge understanding Fleet Management and Working Time Directive.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics and Routing Software
- FORS knowledge ideally Bronza & Silver.
- Training role within a driving environment
Hours: Monday to Friday, either 10:00 - 19:00 or 11:00 - 20:00, flexibility with hours is required.
