Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Transport Compliance Office in the Wednesbury area?
Then this role could be for you, I am seeking an experienced compliance officer with at least two years' experience preferably working for an SME. You must be able to think on your feet and be up for a challenge to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities of the Transport Compliance:
- Maintain all relevant aspects of a safe, legal, and compliant transport operation.
- Ensure that all relevant statutory laws, EU Drivers Hours Rules & Regulations, Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations, Operators Licence and OCRS obligations, and all Company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Updating & managing Convey compliance software to manage infringements / WTD / Missing Mileages to comply with the above.
- Maintaining R&M vehicle maintenance, as well as updating servicing spreadsheets & contracts to comply with the above.
- Maintaining / updating all vehicle / trailer files in line with DVSA / VOSA Legislation.
- Booking all trailer MOT's / Brake Tests / Servicing & maintaining up to date spreadsheets to comply with the above.
- Manage all periodic and ad hoc fleet repairs and maintenance, including defect rectification, breakdowns, VOR's and spare parts replenishment.
- Control all temporary and permanent fleet amendments, including vehicle condition checks and registration to all relevant accounts and portals (i.e. TfL, Dart Charge, Mersey Gateway, Tyne Tunnel, Operator Licence, and motor insurance etc.).
Requirements of the Transport Compliance Officer:
- At least 2+ years' experience in Transport Compliance and/or supervisor roles.
- Experience managing Transport Compliance, for a mixed fleet of over 10+ vehicles.
- Experienced in transport servicing, maintenance schedules.
- Experience with DVSA, VOSA, Operators Licence Awareness is advantageous.
- CPC qualification is desire, however, please apply if you have the necessary compliance skills.
