Position: Transport Operator
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shifts:
Monday: 05:00 - 13:30
Tuesday - Friday: 05:30 - 14:00
Salary: £25,000 per annum (£12.00 per hour)
Type: Temporary to Permanent Role
Location: Wellesbourne, CV35 9JY
Key Responsibilities:
As a Transport Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating under the guidance of a Transport Supervisor, alongside a PM Operator & Night Operator.
Efficiently managing a team of drivers, ensuring seamless communication to mitigate any risks of delays.
Conducting prebriefing and debriefing sessions with drivers, ensuring they are equipped with the correct paperwork and tools for effective task execution.
Engaging with a diverse range of internal and external customers via phone and email within stringent deadlines.
Upholding and promoting transport compliance in adherence to the company's O Licence obligations. This encompasses vehicle defect reporting, tacho downloads, and overseeing inspections and services as per operational schedules.
Coordinating with warehouse operations to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Weekly responsibility for unlocking and opening the site.
