This company are one of the UK's leading manufacturers in their field and due to growth they are looking to add to their team. This well-established company have continued to keep their family feel environment, while rapidly growing at the same time. They are currently looking to add a Transport Planner to their team as their workload increases.
Duties:
- Plan the daily dispatch schedules to make sure all loads are sufficient
- Checking stock and planning loads
- Independently working to plan daily deliveries
- Print customer delivery notes accurately and make sure they get to the right places
- Watch over the loading process to make sure everything is done correctly and on time
- Learn about our production plan to better understand how to oversee dispatch operations
- Supervise everything in the loading process to keep things running smoothly
- Handle printing and distributing delivery notes efficiently
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Great communication skills
- Experience in using Prophet or similar systems
- Previous experience working within a warehouse setting
- Flexibility to work various hours
- Ability to work to deadlines
