Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Interpreting and implementing relevant legislation pertaining to road traffic acts to the best of our ability.
2. Overseeing the daily activities of the Drivers.
3. Prioritizing work schedules to optimize efficiency.
4. Ensuring compliance with vehicle defect procedures in line with our operator's license and audit requirements.
5. Assisting the Depot Manager in enforcing discipline and control standards, conducting annual driver appraisals, and facilitating the induction of new drivers.
6. Managing overtime effectively by monitoring start times and levels of inactivity on the tracker.
7. Providing prompt and positive responses to all customer inquiries.
8. Proactively investigating and resolving any issues related to missed collections.
9. Logging and addressing customer complaints in a timely manner through the Helpdesk.
10. Conducting investigation interviews for potential disciplinary hearings.
11. Verifying that drivers perform pre and post-shift vehicle checks.
