Would you like to work on new development and aviation projects based in the South West? Would you like to visit sites to check project progress and liaise with Contractors?
As a Transport Strategy Manager you are required to have a background in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or Transport Planning and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing travel plans and access strategies ideally for airports.
You will have excellent communication skills and have experience managing projects and liaising with Clients and Contractors on site.
It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have a valid driving licence.
As a Transport Strategy Manager you will join a supportive team based in Bristol to complete travel plans and access strategies for aviation projects in Bristol.
You will be expected to complete;
-Transport Assessments and Statements.
-Travel Plans.
-Access Strategies and Parking Strategies for a new multistory car park.
-Traffic Assessments.
-Implement Airport Surface Access Strategies and Workplace Travel Plans.
-Monitor project progress and update stakeholders and The Highways Agency.
-Deliver public transport improvements.
-Provide transport planning expertise for master planning.
-Ensure project is compliant with existing and future planning requirements.
-Attend site when needed to ensure projects is running to time and budget.
