Do you have a passion for travel and expertise in the AMADEUS Global Distribution System (GDS)? We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team in Newbury. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a strong command of the AMADEUS GDS system.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel arrangements using the AMADEUS GDS system
Provide expert advice on travel destinations, accommodations, and transportation options
Handle customer inquiries and resolve booking-related issues
Stay updated on industry trends and travel regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the agency's success
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant
Proficiency in using the AMADEUS GDS system
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, and hotel chains
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
