Loughton based long haul tour operator seeks highly motivated, hard working homeworking sales professionals. The company has proudly been trading for over 40 years and offers high quality, value for money travel components to its large customer base.
As a travel consultant you will be dealing with incoming emails and telephone calls creating holidays to the USA, Caribbean and Mexico with an exceptional level of customer service applied. Our state of the art technology helps you achieve our high standards of service and sales with confidence.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Essential Experience A Minimum 2 years recent and proven telephone sales experience within the UK retail travel industry required dealing with the public direct. Able to work to targets in a pressurized sales environment. Previous experience creating high-quality tailor-made travel itineraries.
Knowledge of scheduled airlines Prior destination and product knowledge of the USA Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities. Confident and friendly telephone manner. Able to work well within a thriving team environment. Enthusiastic telephone manner A drive to succeed. Excellent customer service skills A competent level of keyboard and PC skills along with excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Able to work flexible shifts, including a proportion of weekend days and evenings. 2. Useful Experience Previous experience of using Airline Reservations Systems (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan) Galileo preferred. Previous experience using the Dolphin system.
HOURS OF WORK
37.5 hours per week Working from home.

We offer a guaranteed minimum training salary equivalent to £27,519 per annum for the first 6 months of employment made up as follows. Basic Salary £20,319 plus our generous uncapped commission structure Working from home allowance £1,200 per annum Plus £500 per month Training Allowance for the first 6 months Plus, commission on sales from month one onwards. 28 days paid holiday (including Bank holidays) increasing to up 33 days for long service.
