Treasury Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a well established and successful company in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Treasury Analyst for the Head Office Finance Team.

This Treasury Analyst role will have the autonomy to work independently within this area of finance and you will be accountable of the management of day to day treasury operations within the finance department. You will work closely with operating companies as well as external banking partners.  It will be a varied role with duties to include: -

• Support and play a pivotal role with global cash management
• Continue to improve and report on Daily Cash with highlights
• Liaison with Operating Companies for Daily Cash submissions
• Assist with Revolving Credit Facility utilisation, rollovers and interest and Bond interest
• Consolidation and reporting of weekly Group Cash Flow Forecast
• Reporting of Financial Indebtedness and forecasting of Net Debt / covenants
• Cash planning, matched funding and cash repatriations
• Working capital management
• Maintain Hedge register for currency swaps and forwards
• Collate end of month MTM fair valuations of financial Derivatives from bank
• Provide daily reporting on pensions contribution compliance with limits, receivables and keeping Assignee bank account security to a minimum
• Organise for addition and removal of receivables to maintain minimum limit
• Maintain financial excel calculation model
• Act as Inputter for Head Office Treasury transactions on online banking platforms
• Liaison with relationship banks on daily operational matters
• Maintain up to date Global database of all bank accounts signatories
• Ad-hoc projects as requested by the Group Treasury Manager & Group Financial Controller
• Develop and improve the group wide treasury strategies and polices to identify and deliver process improvements and efficiencies across which add value, improve visibility and reduce risk

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experiences: -

• Previous experience within Treasury (Ideally with exposure to multi-national groups)
• Recognised accounting qualification (Highly desirable)
• Ability to encourage change and influence management teams outside of your area of operation
• Positive outlook with a 'can do' attitude
• Ability to set own agenda and work priorities
• Confident and able to offer opinions and prepared to be challenged on them
• Desire to understand and support the operating divisions
• Good level of gravitas and able to interact with senior professionals
• Ensure the job gets done
