Clinical: Assessing patients, diagnosing and escalating to registrar / consultant level when necessary. Taking bloods ordering other tests including MRI, x-ray etc. The duties will include attending relevant MDTs Administrative: Successful applicants will be expected to carry out all administrative tasks allocated to them by the Medical Education Manager, or clinical supervisor, including keeping of inpatient records, ordering investigations and receiving results. Research: The medical education department has a strong reputation for excellent medical education and there are many ongoing projects. The high volume of educational activity performed in the Trust ensures there is a vast opportunity to instigate and perform research/audit projects. Such activity is encouraged and results presented at regional and national meetings. In addition, the successful candidate will spend a proportion of time supporting the paediatric emergency department.
