The successful candidates will be working alongside the team of Paediatricians from a variety of specialities including acute and general
paediatrics, paediatric intensive care and paediatric subspecialty medicine in the children’s admission unit, children’s inpatient wards and
children’s outpatient department. He/she will participate in managing the care of paediatric patients at registrar level. He/she will be expected to
perform clinical and non-invasive assessment of paediatric patients within an acute environment.
The post will include responsibility for day to day running of the paediatric base wards, planning and implementing management under the
supervision of the consultant staff and presenting cases at departmental MDT meetings. The post will also involve working in paediatric
outpatients under consultant supervision.
