Challenge Events Executive (Bespoke Challenges), an excellent opportunity to join a National Social Welfare Charity.
Head Office is based in Central London, offering Hybrid Working; 2 days a week office based, 3 days a week working from home. 30 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays per year, and other great benefits.
As the Challenge Events Executive (Bespoke Challenges), working with Challenge Events Manager, you will manage and deliver a portfolio of events, including the charities bespoke flagship walking events. You’ll project manage these events, expanding their participation and increasing income.
Key areas of the role:
- Manage the event project plans for events in your portfolio such as the recruitment of participants, supporter journeys, volunteer recruitment, equipment, and marketing.
- Nurture and build relationships with suppliers, participants, sponsors, volunteers, internal stakeholders, to create and implement creative and logistical aspects of relevant events.
- Oversee supporter engagement and experiences from initial interest, through to post-event, ensuring a high-level support throughout and improving retention.
- Coordinate with internal staff, suppliers, volunteers, and others to establish the requirements for events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Events Fundraiser to manage and deliver a portfolio of bespoke challenge events.
You will ideally have proven experience and knowledge of managing Challenge or Bespoke Events, as part of a fundraising team or have transferable skills from managing a similar fundraising events role. You will have experience of events planning, through to the delivery of these type of bespoke and challenge events. You will also have excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with all supporters and across all areas of the charity.
