Salary: circa £40,000 per annum pro rata

What You'll Do:

• Craft Compelling Proposals: Tailor applications to match funders' interests and organisational objectives, ensuring they stand out in a competitive landscape.
• Build Strong Relationships: Nurture connections with existing and potential funders through effective stewardship and communication.
• Drive Fundraising Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy, identifying new initiatives and opportunities.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Utilise CRM systems to track and manage donor information, ensuring compliance with GDPR and charity law.
• Stay Informed: Keep abreast of fundraising trends and sector developments, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues across the organisation, attending meetings and providing support where needed.

What You'll Bring:

• Track Record: Success in securing grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders, with experience raising five and six-figure sums.
• Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with funders, colleagues, and external partners.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all aspects including record-keeping and budget preparation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly Word and Excel, along with previous experience using fundraising CRM systems.
• Empathy and Understanding: Genuine empathy for Hestia's charitable causes and values, with a commitment to safeguarding principles.
• Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the role.
