Duties will involve working within existing tunnels across London and the surrounding areas. You will be required to maintain a number of elements within the tunnels.
Scope of Work:
- Distributed temperature sensing (DTS) system Inspection and Maintenance
- Tunnel TVCMS System Inspection and Maintenance - SCADA
- Tunnel Ventilation Systems Inspection and Maintenance
- Tunnel Fixed Gas Detection Systems Inspection and Maintenance
- Air Conditioning Units Inspection and Maintenance
- Tunnel electrical systems Inspection and Maintenance (above ground)
- Servicing of Powered Gates (LLV)
- PAT Testing head houses
Requirements / Qualifications:
- St. John's Ambulance Emergency first aid at work Certificate
- UKPN Competency in entering substations & avoid danger inside 132KV only
- CITY AND GUILDS Level 2 Award in Working in High Risk Confined Spaces Or CITY AND GUILDS Level 3 Award in Working as a Member of Rescue and Recovery Team in Confined Spaces
- CSCS or JIB Card
- Experience working on UKPN projects (Head Houses and Tunnels)
- Experience working as PICOS, Topman etc
- Tunnel Entry and Inspection Experience
- Sediment removal and Extraction Experience
- Fire Detection Experience
- Sump Pump Maintenance Experience
- Davit Arm Inspection Experience
- Gas detection system Maintenance
- Forced Ventilation Fan Maintenance
- Flood risk Environment Work Experience
