Job description

The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Caring Professions, for a Tutor-Assessor in Early Years (Vocational and T level). The successful candidate will be teaching on 16-19 study programmes (including T Levels) and assessing learners via observations both in the classroom and also off-site in work placement. You will be involved in designing and delivering a curriculum that is based on the ever-changing needs of the Science sector; and That develops the right knowledge, skills and behaviours of our learners, enabling them to achieve a career or higher education in their chosen field. You will also engage with local employers to support with continued curriculum development and work experience / placement opportunities. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and skills whilst developing the next generation of Early Years Professionals, and have a strong track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning opportunities within a career focused curriculum, then this is the ideal job for you! You should hold a relevant degree and a teaching qualification. Successful candidates must have relevant Early Years industry experience within the last 10 years. This is a full-time permanent position working 35 hours per week, which will include a teaching/assessing commitment of up to 24 hours per week.
