Tutor in Maths
Salary: £29,295 - £31,948 per annum pro-rata (average of 18 hours per week, 0.5 FTE)

Location: Wentworth Castle, Barnsley, South Yorkshire
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified candidate to deliver Maths to adult learners, with delivery initially focused on functional skills. You should have experience of teaching adults and be able to support learners to develop their subject confidence and make positive progress towards success. As well as delivering on our campus at Wentworth Castle, you will also deliver maths in community settings as part of our community learning delivery. The key duties will include:
- Plan, prepare, deliver, and assess engaging provision with an understanding of the needs of learners.
- Assess, record and monitor student progress using SMART learning targets linked to course delivery.
- Support students to ensure their completion, achievement and progression.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following qualifications:-
- Level 5 Teaching qualification
- A degree in Maths
- English & Maths at Level 2 or above
