The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the resolution and management of applications and system issues across the Trust. The role will require providing application support to schools and an escalation point for IT technicians within the IT team liaising with IT Projects and Systems Manager / Head of IT and external agencies where appropriate.
This is a home-based position and travel may occasionally be required to school sites therefore flexibility with working hours and a willingness to travel occasionally is required.
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and experience:
- Professional Qualifications relating to IT Technical Support
- Demonstratable evidence of management and maintenance of Office 365 administration, Azure Identity Management, and domain hosting management
- Demonstratable evidence of maintaining and developing IT cloud-based solutions
- Understanding of IT software and solutions for management and monitoring
- Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles
- Good knowledge of IT Application Management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised
- Analytical and effective problem solver
- Strong teamwork skills
- Respects confidentiality
