About The Role
Swansea’s School of Psychology is a warm, supportive community of psychologists who work on theoretical and impactful research while delivering excellent degree programmes that have a strong track record for boosting future employability. Situated on one of the UK’s most beautiful coastlines and with a low cost of living, Swansea is a desirable place to live as well as to work.
We are currently recruiting a permanent, full-time tutor to teach a range of psychology topics. In particular, we are looking for a candidate who could contribute to the thriving Welsh-language provision that we offer within the School. Using both Welsh and English, you will have the chance to contribute to various areas of our popular and innovative single- and joint-honours degree programmes, and/or our suite of Masters programmes. Knowledge of developmental psychology would be a particular advantage, but we are open to candidates with experience across the discipline.
What we are looking for
Applicants will have a degree – and ideally also a PhD – in Psychology or an equivalent discipline, and appropriate experience with teaching and/or student experience. A track record in teaching innovation, EDI, or student wellbeing would be particularly welcome.
