The CatchUp Academy is currently working with s secondary school in Brent to help support students in the core subject of Maths, English & Science. All students have SEMH and will be on a 1:1 basis.
We currently have 16 hours available in Wembley area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs and learning styles of each student
- Assist students in understanding and completing homework assignments
- Teach study skills and organizational techniques to improve academic performance
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Experience:
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching is preferred
- Knowledge of special education strategies and techniques is a plus
- Ability to effectively educate and engage children of various ages and skill levels
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and other stakeholders
