One-to-One Tutor Needed - Supporting Student's Re-Integration We are seeking a compassionate and skilled one-to-one tutor to support a young person's transition back into the classroom environment. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about empowering students with social, emotional and mental health needs. In this role, you will work closely with a student requiring specialized assistance to re-acclimate to a school setting. Through patient guidance and creative teaching methods, you will help rebuild their confidence, motivation and academic skills. The ideal candidate should have background knowledge/experience in: One-on-one tutoring for core subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.) Supporting students with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) needs Designing engaging outdoor and hands-on learning activities Implementing strategies for classroom re-integration and socialization Special education, child psychology or equivalent field is a plus We're looking for someone who is: Understanding and able to build trusting relationships Flexible and adaptive to the student's needs and learning style Relatable and able to connect with young people Highly patient, empathetic and emotionally intelligent This is a part-time role requiring approximately 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with a mix of tutoring and transitional/integration support.
