We are working with a number of Local Authorities across London who are always seeking to appoint experienced Primary and Secondary teachers to support students on a 1:1 basis.

- Must feel comfortable working in the home
- Provide own computor/laptop
- Resources can be provided
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, English across Primary and Secondary levels
- Assess students' individual needs and develop personalized lesson plans to address their specific learning goals
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage and motivate students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians, the agency and local authority on a regular basis
- Collaborate with social workers, the school or other tutors to align sessions with classroom curriculum
- Help students develop effective study skills and strategies for academic success
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a tutoring or educational setting
- Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with students of all ages
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field is preferred, but not required
