FFG Maldon are looking for a UEFA B/C Football Coach to lead our development sessions for ages 6-16 years in Witham & Tiptree. A fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to grow the business into an Academy in the next 6-12 months.

Hours: Monday 5pm-8pm,Wednesday 6pm – 7pm, Friday 5pm-7pm
(More hours available on request)
Start Date: April 2024
Job Types: Part-time, contract, temp to perm
Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Bonus: Referral Bonus & Target Bonus

Deliver the FFG Development Syllabus
Plan and execute your weekly classes, based on the syllabus.
Effectively communicate your lesson plan to your assistant coach.
Deliver engaging classes to FFG members, identifying areas of strength and weakness and tailoring your deliverance based on the ability of your class.
Attracting new players/talent
Build a positive reputation within your community to attract referrals and new members.
Maintain effective communications between player, parent/guardian and venue.
Inform the Academy Manager of any potential ‘Elite’ players within your Development classes.
Brand Reputation & Awareness
Be aware at all times of the visual impact and overall brand reputation during training and fixtures.
Ensure all coaches and players are appropriately dressed and behaving withing FFG policies & procedures.
Protect the reputation of FFG at all times.
Player Development
Provide a safe, competitive and engaging environment for the development of all Development players.
Manage the provision of termly player feedback to encourage additional skill and technique development.
Encourage players to work to their full potential; encouraging and mentoring players to believe in themselves and exceed expectations.
Coach Development
Attend all FFG CPD.
Set high standards and expectations of the Assistant Coaches and manage them to exceed at all times. Ensure their coaching quality is, continually and without fail, exceptionally well planned and executed.
Set an example amongst your peers and encourage team development.
Health & Safety
Ensure your First Aid kit is fully stock and First Aid policies are being adhered to by all staff.
Manage player emergency and medical data in accordance with GDPR.
Report any Safeguarding concerns swiftly and appropriately in accordance to the FFG Safeguarding Policy.
Report any H&S risks immediately to the venue and FFG.
Actively Risk Assess prior to any class/activity taking place and act to reduce/eliminate any possible risk to members, spectators and staff.

We are recruiting part-time coaches for regular weekly football and futsal development training with the possibility of extending this in to some school work during the day and holiday camps.
