Overview:
- Manage teammate on-boarding as specified in the HR SOPs.
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is in full compliance with the Aviation Security requirements (references, application forms and other paperwork)
- Review and approve all teammate IT and new hire tickets as required.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the HRIS and ensure UK data quality (new hires, promotions, job changes/transfers, rehires and terminations).
- Manage and maintain Time & Attendance system, creating shift patterns as required.
- Work closely with internal payroll to ensure relevant information reaches the correct department/person. Ensure all new starters/leavers are accounted for; help support special payroll runs, help support annual merit and bonuses are processed accurately and timely.
- Monthly HR reporting (headcount/leaver/joiners/changes etc.) as required and maintenance of country org charts.
- Off-boarding/Exit Process. Responsible for completion of HR Termination Checklist including creating and sending Acknowledgment of Resignation Notice, Exit Survey, schedule HR Exit Interview, create summary notes from HR Exit Interview and terminate employee in HRIS and other platforms/systems.
- Responsible for new hire orientation and basic system training for all UK new joiners.
- Issue end of probation letters, confirmation of employment and escalate any probation extensions to the HR Business Partner.
- Maintain hard and soft copy of employee records.
- Prepare presentations on various HR topics.
- Support the performance management process within our systems, status reports and assist employees and management with any queries.
- Assist with M&A activity including large employee imports of data and quality assurance, new hire paperwork, system logins, PTO set-ups, etc.
- Regularly participate and contribute to process improvements.
- Full involvement in project work and support to the HRBP and the wider Talent Management team.
- CIPD qualified.
Experience
- A minimum of (3) three years of related HR experience
- Prior experience in HRIS and HR Operations required.
- Prior experience working with data and HRIS data migration.
- Accurate, speedy and independent way of working
- Competent in HR systems and administrative duties
- Knowledge of UK labour law and UK payroll regulations.
- Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) required.
- Excel proficiency – advanced
- Fluent oral and written English is a must.
- Additional (major) European languages would be an asset
- Organizational skills to manage high volume of new hires and other HR changes needed to be made within the system.
- Detailed oriented and ability to perform data analysis for purposes of root cause analysis, trend analysis, issue resolution or the like
- Ability to present to and deliver material in a clear and digestible way
- Ability to balance being a proven teammate and working independently
- Previous experience in fast pace environments and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
