We want to deliver our ambition to be the biggest and best dairy company in the UK and Ireland, and our plans for further growth mean that we are now looking to recruit a Recruitment Advisor (12 Month FTC) to join our UK Recruitment Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for business partnering with hiring managers throughout the authorised recruitment process, liaising and building trusted agency partner relationships, and creating and maintaining an excellent candidate experience, from application through to onboarding. You will manage and take ownership for finding the right candidates across numerous business functions, and utilise a suite of various attraction plans, whilst ensuring UK Recruitment is recognised as a Centre of Excellence across the business.
We currently operate a hybrid working model which averages 3 days a week on-site between our Market Drayton and Telford offices, with additional travel across the UK when needed.
Your Key Tasks:

  • Managing Recruitment activity across different functions/locations, ensuring completion within process timelines and SLAs, including: Requisition management, vacancy advertising, candidate processing, interview coordination, offer confirmation & contract generation for new starters & internal movers
  • Conducting recruitment planning calls with hiring managers, assessing the needs of the role, manager and external market intelligence and being a source of specialist advice to ensure quality and suitability of recruitment activity are recommended and agreed
  • Championing a Direct Resourcing mindset and ensuring that all direct sourcing routes are utilised before engaging an agency from our preffered supplier list
  • Building collaborative relationships with Agency Partners in all disciplines. Engaging a 3rd party when required by the business needs and ensuring that the service they provide is in keeping with process but also that they have all the tools and knowledge to represent the brand correctly on the market
  • Ensuring clear audit trails by using clear and concise notes within the Recruitment & HR applicant tracking & case management systems
  • Ensuring essential candidate documentation (e.g. Right To Work) is checked at assessment stage and logged accordingly
  • Promoting continuous improvement by challenging the 'status quo', seeking and recommending improved ways of working within the UK Recruitment Function
  • Supporting the wider HR team with key projects and activities (e.g. organisational design)
Key Skills and Experience
  • Has experience as a recruiter, either within a recruitment agency, or as part of a in house recruitment team
  • Passionate about building collaborative relationships across all levels
  • Demonstrable experience in proactive candidate sourcing on databases, using LinkedIn Recruiter and other paid job boards
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrable business partnering experience is essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • High level of IT skills, including MS Office, Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, high volume environment is essential, with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise when needed to ensure deadlines are met
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to 'think outside the box' when under pressure
