About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the wastewater performance team as a Data and Reporting Analyst. This is a key role focusing on sewer flooding and pollution performance.
If your passion is a career in data analytics, identifying trends in that data to help solve problem then this opportunity will hit the mark.
You will gain invaluable hands-on experience in the creation and production of insightful analysis, looking at trends that will lead to news ways of working. Your trend analysis will be key to improving the environment and you will have the opportunity to present your findings to stakeholders with your full support.
You will support the production of the Wastewater Directorate Balanced Scorecard and support the development and production of a benefit reporting tool to track performance improvement initiatives.
About you
We would like you to have Strong attention to detail with an analytical / solution focus and a drive to improve performance. It is essential that you are currently studying for a degree in any field, and on a course which allows a 12 month placement to take place between your 2nd and 3rd year of study.
Ideally you will have strong communication skills and the ability to work to challenging deadlines.
It would be beneficial if you had experience of analysing performance Data and translating into meaningful management information.
To be successful in the role we would need you to be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages with advanced Excel skills.
Please note the successful candidate will not be employed directly by Northumbrian Water, this role will be employed by a third-party agency Randstad.
