Job description

The School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Undergraduate Officer.

You will provide comprehensive and professional clerical support within the School to ensure efficient and effective administration of the UG Programmes and associated activities.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

A minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
GCSE English Language and Mathematics (Grade C or above).
Significant relevant experience in a customer facing role within a busy office environment in a large public or private sector organisation to include:

Experience of delivering work within defined deadlines and prioritising competing work schedules.

Experience of producing written communication to set guidelines and standards and working in an environment with significant compliance to organisation and legal standards.

Experience of dealing with a wide range of confidential and sensitive information and the ability to manage the dissemination of such information in an appropriate manner.

Experience of servicing Committees including minute taking, drafting agendas, collating and issuing papers and ensuring actions are implemented.

Experience of line management and the ability to lead, develop, mentor and supervise others.

Experience of organising events in particular in a marketing and promotion context.
