Position Overview:
As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents living with dementia. You will be responsible for leading and managing a dedicated team of care professionals, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care that promotes well-being and maintains the dignity of our residents. Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will be pivotal in achieving our mission of excellence in dementia care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to the care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Implement and monitor care plans, making necessary adjustments to meet individual needs.
- Administer medications and carry out clinical assessments as and when required.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the wider care team.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and fun within the care home.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our care services through innovation and best practice.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse
- Active NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role in a care setting desired but not essential
