Graduate Business Partnership Job Summary - The University of Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is seeking two graduate level Clinical TrialsData Management Officers. You will become a welcome member of the experienced and multidisciplinary ExeCTU team, working together with researchers and clinicians to address important health questions through the design and delivery of high-quality and efficient multi-centre Clinical Trials and other well-designed studies. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme and is available for an immediate start for 12 months in the first instance and is available on a full-time basis. This role offers Hybrid working where you can work remotely and from Exeter Clinical Trials Unit, College House, St Luke's Campus. About You - You should be a graduate who has good written and verbal communication skills, is computer literate, has good analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong numerical and organisational skills. You should have the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to organise and prioritise own workloads considering the requirements of competing tasks and deadlines, actively participate as a member of a research team, be able to liaise with colleagues and have the ability to present information on research progress and outcomes. You should be able to contribute to preparation of research reports and publications, including reports to external bodies, understand equal opportunity issues as they may impact on areas of research content, and have an understanding of the importance of equality and diversity within an organisation and a commitment to helping create an inclusive culture. You should also have analytical skills commensurate with an undergraduate degree with a strong quantitative component. Familiarity with REDCap or other online data capture tools and familiarity with statistical software packages, e.g. R, Stata are desirable.
