If your answers are a resounding "yes," then we invite you to join our dynamic team as a University Law Lecturer at our Leeds-based secondary setting. This full-time position is set to commence on January 22nd.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ).
- PGCE & QTS.
- Good knowledge and experience of the UK national curriculum.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a University Law Lecturer for Key Stage 5 students, your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at fostering academic excellence and passion for the law:
- Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging, challenging, and inspiring law modules in line with the university curriculum, tailored to the needs of KS5 students.
- Student Engagement: Cultivating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and a genuine enthusiasm for legal studies.
- Assessment and Feedback: Implementing effective assessment strategies to measure student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Resource Development: Contributing to the development and enhancement of teaching materials, ensuring they are up-to-date, relevant, and captivating.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Actively participating in collaborative projects with fellow educators, contributing to the wider academic community, and fostering a culture of shared learning.
