We are investing in our academic provision and wish to appoint inspiring and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer, with a particular focus on teaching our LLB (Hons) with Criminology students. Candidates for this Lecturer role should hold a degree in a relevant discipline, and a doctorate. Candidates should be able to demonstrate evidence of research and publication to REF level, including successful funding applications (research and/or knowledge transfer). The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and should be able to teach at least one of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge. Preference will be given to those candidates who can deliver teaching in one or more of the following areas: Victims, Crime and Inequality; Policing, Justice and Society; Violent and Sexual Offending; and Criminal Justice Policy. Candidates should be research active and it would be advantageous for applicants to have published in the areas of teaching need identified above. Occasional overseas travel may be required.
