Our client is seeking a talented Urban Designer to join their dynamic team. As an Urban Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative solutions that enhance the livability, functionality, and beauty of urban environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, planners, engineers, and stakeholders to develop visionary urban design concepts.
- Create compelling master plans, site plans, and urban design guidelines that promote sustainable development and social equity.
- Utilise your expertise in design principles, spatial analysis, and land use regulations to inform decision-making processes.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for urban revitalisation and community enhancement.
- Present design proposals and recommendations to clients, regulatory agencies, and community groups with clarity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in urban design projects, including mixed-use developments, public spaces, and streetscapes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS software, and other design tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for creating sustainable, inclusive urban environments.
