User Researcher

About the Role

We're looking for a User Experience Researcher with a genuine passion for, and expertise in, a variety of research methods to join our growing UX Team. Depending on the project, our users may be internal or external, experts or novices, so adaptability in style and communication is important.

Our researchers should build a high level of understanding of our digital journeys and have a genuine desire to solve problems, with a need to focus not only on quantitative research, but also the exploration of behaviours, motivations, needs and pain points of the end users.

Our projects vary from an online savings platform and mobile app for customers to a new mortgage application and management platform for mortgage advisors and brokers, and a huge variety of things in between.

About You

• You understand a range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods, and when to use them and why.
• You want to become an expert in our users, and their journeys and goals.
• You are a good communicator and can help build empathy for the user with the wider team and business stakeholders.
• You can analyse your research data to inform outcomes and recommendations.
• You engage with users and stakeholders to identify user needs, goals, challenges and opportunities.
