​Our UX team is based within our wider Digital Business team at our head offices in Derbyshire. We provide the vision and direction for our member and Consultant websites and apps; working closely with our Technology team to ensure our vision becomes a reality.

Your role with us…

​As a Slimming World UX Designer, you’ll work collaboratively within a cross-functional team (of UX Designers, UI Designers, Digital Insights Specialists, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Developers). You’ll be a key member of this team, who follows human-centred design processes, discovery best practices and all aspects of UX design principles. Working with multiple stakeholders from various backgrounds, you’ll guide them through an approach that best supports business and user needs; ensuring it works across our digital products and channels.

​Day to day in your role,​you will be responsible for​creating and delivering a range of solutions to help evolve the user experience of our digital products and channels. You will do this by understanding the brief,​gathering requirements, conducting discovery, creating wireframes, prototypes, and ultimately, delivering high-quality solutions.

About you…

You’ll have proven experience in a similar role, using UX design processes, and be passionate about problem solving and delivering creative, innovative solutions that centre around business goals and users’ needs. You’ll be naturally warm, friendly, and approachable with great interpersonal skills. We’d love to hear from you if you’re also a natural communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative team and you’ve:

• ​experience of interpreting business requirements and translating business objectives into designs which meet user needs.
• the ability to demonstrate experience of UX design principles and human-centred design processes.
• proven research and discovery experience including user research.
• excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting and evidencing design decisions.
• an eye for detail, you’re a creative thinker who enjoys the challenge of solving problems.

You’ll also bring experience in Figma or an equivalent design tool, with solid design and prototyping skills. And crucially, you’ll have a strong drive to continue learning from others with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
