Bureau for Visual Affairs is a leading digital agency based in London working with some of the most influential clients from within the cultural and corporate sectors, such as Damien Hirst, V&A, Marc Quinn, Aquascutum and Whistles. We are growing, and therefore looking for a Middleweight Web/Digital Designer to join our team at our office in Borough, London.

We are looking for someone experienced in web and digital design. The role’s main responsibility is working alongside our design and development team in the creation and delivery of various digital projects, ranging from websites to applications. The successful application should have experience from prototyping to delivery, as well as digital brand applications.

Role requirements

• Good understanding of design for digital media, from UX to UI

• Work comfortably in Adobe CS including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

• Strong understanding of typography, layout and information hierarchy

• Experience using Invision, Adobe XD and Sketch

• Ability to prototype interaction design

• An understanding of front end languages (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery)

• Ability to code email templates and e-signatures

• Good attention to detail

• Strong time management skills

• Good Mandarin language skills to work with our growing international clientele

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of agency experience

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Delivering presentations and meeting with clients

• Commercial acumen
