Overview of the role
To support current Care Homes with key issues/swift resolution, visit stores to set-up care home BIC, advise/support AOM/ROM on next steps to ensure Care Homes are retained within Well Pharmacy. Manage and prevent the loss of Care Homes.
Main Responsibility
- Follow process to include calls/visits to Care Homes across Well Care home estate to retain business
- To understand the capacity and capability at specified branches and/or geographical areas
- To engineer productive relationships with field colleagues to collaborate a whole team approach
- Pro- actively engage with customers to prevent issues from escalating
- Keeping all records up to date by recording of all activity on agreed database or platform
- Producing monthly analytical reports to share with stakeholders; to provide insight into potential future losses/issues
- Supporting stores with set/up of new care home business through Analyst guidance and learnt experience
- Monitoring of all changes in regional support/estate management/partnership relationships
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and techniques by sharing experiences and successful techniques with other care home team
- Pro-actively engage with SM’s to enhance Wells position in the market; through sales calls/social media/external business development as needed
- Meet retention budget and relevant KPI’s
- Support through wellness visits/calls; when appropriate with AOM’s to ensure Wells Estate is retained above a 10% loss annually
Problem Solving & Change:
- Able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-moving business
- Multitasking and managing multiple Care Homes issues
- Must have gravitas and credibility to support with change in Care Homes and branches
- Working to quarterly and annual KPIS, with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity
- Maintain a high level of communication/relationships with key customers in our Care Homes
Key knowledge and skills required:
- Experience of working to multiple key objectives, managing own work & able to adapt to unexpected situations
- Minimum 1 years inhouse pharmacy experience, Analyst/Well Hub/Pharmacy operational knowledge
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, quickly.
- Understanding of the care market and the authorising bodies that each care home liaises with within the sector is preferable
- Full UK driving licence
