This is a newly created role which gives you the opportunity to work within a directorate dedicated to delivering planned investment, decarbonisation, disrepair and compliance works and services for our 67,000 homes.
The Commercial & Contracts team operates across all tenures and all Assets & Sustainability teams. To succeed in this role, you will need to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues within the directorate and across the business.
You’ll provide guidance and insights to the whole directorate, supporting them to deliver strong and effective management of our c.100 suppliers helping to ensure that we deliver value for money against our c.£130m p.a. budget.
Our services must be responsive, efficient and cost effective, positively contributing to resident satisfaction. Holding our supply chain to account is key in delivering this.
Main Responsibility
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Assets & Sustainability team effectively manage their supply chain. You will do this by collating and analysing performance data and providing insight to colleagues, creating a process to ensure best practice on contract management activities is consistently applied across the department and working closely with our suppliers to monitor non-operational performance against NHG policies (safeguarding, ED&I, social value etc.)
We believe we work best when we work together, so you'll work from our office at Bruce Kenrick House, 2 Killick Street, London N1 9FL at least three days a week as well as attending site, contractor offices or one of our other offices when required.

The successful candidate will need experience of using data to provide insight to influence stakeholders of all levels as well as experience of managing and/ or procuring supply chains either directly or indirectly.
Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification. Experience of working with asset management contracts is advantageous but not essential.
