Commercial and Contracts Manager

Your remit spans from generating templates to devising methodologies, from shepherding negotiations to deftly resolving disputes. You're the linchpin between Supply Chain dynamics and the legal department, optimising process’ while acting as the vanguard for contractual matters. Your toolkit includes a blend of strategic foresight and meticulous attention to detail as you craft bespoke Commercial and Contracts strategies tailored to the needs of our stakeholders.
But it's not just about drafting terms and conditions; it's about cultivating relationships. You're the conductor orchestrating harmonious partnerships with our suppliers and contractors, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment of objectives. As you navigate the intricate web of business support teams and stakeholders, you're not just managing workflows; you're fostering collaboration and synergy.
In the pursuit of operational excellence, you're constantly refining our supply chain practices, scrutinizing every link for efficiency and effectiveness. From reviewing work orders to leading contract negotiations, you're at the forefront of driving value for our company.
Who you are
We're on the lookout for a seasoned Commercial and Contracts pro to lead the charge in our Supply Chain universe. You'll be the bridge between strategy and execution, navigating complex contractual waters with finesse. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A wealth of experience in crafting and negotiating strategic contracts, fuelled by a genuine passion for the art of contract development
- A keen eye for efficiency metrics and commercial models, coupled with a knack for thinking outside the box and adapting on the fly
- Sharp numerical skills for diving into financial analysis and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven success in sculpting commercial constructs that align seamlessly with business needs, along with a track record of delivering winning strategies
- A deep understanding of contract and commercial law, complemented by solid contract management and risk mitigation prowess
- A flair for negotiation, particularly in wrangling high-value, multifaceted contracts, and a knack for project planning in complex environments
- The ability to navigate change with finesse, maximizing value for the business while mitigating potential risks
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, adept at driving change and working seamlessly with stakeholders at all levels
- A sharp commercial acumen, capable of unravelling complex issues and steering negotiations to successful outcomes
