Commercial Asset Manager (Renewable Energy)

I'm working exclusively with a client who is a specialist alternative Asset Manager providing funds, direct investments, and tailored investment solutions, including co-investment across a range of highly differentiated alternative investment strategies. Their expertise includes strategic public, and private equity (private assets), timber, renewable energy, housing, and infrastructure.

My client is committed to building long-term partnerships with their clients to help them achieve their financial goals.

The Commercial Asset Manager will be focused on the Renewable Energy division investing in renewable energy technologies and generating sustainable returns. Assist with data dashboards, project support, finance reconciliation, and market monitoring. Contribute to contract and asset management, participate in front and back-office tasks, and stay updated on regulatory changes. This office-based position requires occasional travel.

Roles and Reponsibilities:

• Generate dashboards and support data analysis for company stakeholders.
• Provide project support for management systems, construction projects, new revenue opportunities, and fleet optimization.
• Assist with invoicing reconciliation and interact with Route to Market counterparties for market monitoring.
• Support auction submissions and qualify assets for NationalgridESO auctions.
• Manage contract and asset management tasks, including revenue streams, trading contracts, and direct services.
• Handle regulatory management, new revenue streams, and flexibility service tenders.

Skills & Attributes:

• 3+ years of relevant market data experience optimisations, trading within Renewable energy sources (BESS, Wind, Solar)
• Strong analytical skills. Numerical, technical, financial, or scientific background preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Proficient in office and business management systems.
