Look no further, we, the leading foodservice and hospitality provider across the Island of Ireland, are looking for a GeneralManager to join our talented team on a full time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the contract to provide great quality Foodservice as required. Responsible for the management, development, and training of all team members. Ensure your contract is compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Action plans are completed following client satisfaction surveys.
- Always promote the unit and act as a Compass Advocate.
- Ensure all client hospitality is delivered to the correct standard and look to up sell to increase revenue.
- Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs.
- All food wastage is recorded and minimised.
- Ensure all customer requirements are communicated to all departments in advance to ensure effective planning.
- Complete labour schedule within the labour budget
- Effectively minimise any agency and overtime spend.
- Adjust labour schedule in line with sales.
- Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs.
- Ensure budgets are understood and achieved, ensure all costs are managed effectively within budget.
- Produce and utilise succession plan
- Ensure all team members are trained and adheres to all H&S and FS policies.
- To encourage participation in ‘Your Voice’ and implement action plan.
- Hold regular team talk briefings.
About You:
- Experience in a similar environment
- High standards and quality driven
- Proven track record of business development and management
- Experienced in working in hotels, restaurants and fine dining.
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- A good team member but must be able to work on own initiative.
- Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
- Use of IT packages including, Microsoft Office, E-mail, Word, Excel
