Encirc makes, fills, and distributes glass bottles and jars. The Legal Assistant plays a pivotal role in keeping the office functioning efficiently, from coordinating meetings to maintaining complete and accurate files. They build collaborative working relationships with our in-house Legal Counsel and earn the trust of our internal and external customers. The Legal Assistant is organised, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team. This is a challenging role with varied responsibilities.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2.30pm hybrid working 3 days on site and 2 from home we can also offer some flexibility in hours for the right candidate.
The Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (in law or related discipline)
- Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills
- Experience working with multiple lawyers simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Be willing to travel as required.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Excellent collaboration skills to contribute proactively and supportively to the delivery of team initiatives.
- Excellent command of the English language, grammar, and legal vocabulary
- Ability to think and work flexibly in the interest of Encirc with the ability to advise on and offer practical solutions to a range of matters.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business.
- Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
