Overview of the role

We are looking for a Pharmacist to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Barnsley.

The Pharmacy: A great opportunity to provide multiple services to all ranges of patients, giving them the best care possible. High output on the range of services, delivering high service levels.

Services Provided and Items - 2000 items, NMS, Flu, Pharmacy First, Hypertension including ABPM, Walk-in, MDS, PCS, RD.

Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport? Car park, staff room

Trading hours - Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 18:15

Number of community blisters: 90

Number of substance misuse patients: 5

Relationship with surgery? Strong with reliance on Pharmacy to deliver services to support GPs

Does it have a separate MDS room? No

The Team: 5 Colleagues, 2 Trained and 3 Trainees on track due to complete within 3 months

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
