Production Team Leader | PERMANENT | £43,918.26
As the Production Team Leader you will be leading a multi disciplined Production team guiding and inspiring others, leading the communication of priorities, daily labour deployment, short interval control, product and materials quality. You will be the lead member of a team operating a high performance production line with full ownership and accountability for product quality and line performance.
The Key Requirements
- Experience of an operational role with packaging machinery or similar
- Business Improvement Techniques
- Minimum GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent
- Ideally NVQ Level 2 in Manufacturing Operations with modules in Quality and Materials
- Fully understand the philosophy of all control systems within manufacturing and retain and utilise this knowledge and skill
- Demonstrate health & safety understanding and compliance
- Relevant IT system knowledge
- Understanding of Lean Processes
The Park is a multi-award-winning bottling facility, employing over four hundred people and producing twenty-five million 9L case equivalents of wine each year. Our state of the art and highly mechanised manufacturing and blending plant has six packaging lines and the capacity to produce 1,200 bottles of wine every minute. The Park is also home to the largest wine warehouse and distribution centre in Europe (80,000m²) with the largest fleet of reach truck Automated Guided Vehicles in the World!
