 Glanmore Foods supply Award Winning healthy food to over 300 school’s or 38,000 daily! All produced and manufactured in our state of the art, custom built, food manufacturing plant. 

 We are looking for a hands on, full time (40 hours), permanentQuality Assistant (factory) to join our team in the Dublin 15 area! 

Reporting into the Quality (HSE) Manager, you will support the onsite and our national and secondary school teams across the business. 

 As a Quality Assistant you will be required to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuously improvement of the Food Safety and Quality Systems & to ensure customer and legal requirements are met. 

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a busy team. You must have previous food industry experience within a food manufacturing environment to be considered for this role. 

 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and development of the QMS & HACCP
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained to the highest level.
• Continuous Improvement of our Quality & Food Safety Systems and Standards within our business to ensure compliance to customer and legal requirements.  
• Provision of staff training in areas such as Food Hygiene, Food Safety & Health & Safety Training. 
• Report on the performance of the Safety Management Systems and on methods for improving it where necessary. 
• Support, conduct and review the internal audit program and complete audits 
• Assist with management of suppliers, specifications and non-conformances
• Assist with the management of specific services, such as Pest Control, Calibration etc. 
• Support and resolve issues in areas such as technical support, customer queries and complaints resolution. 
• Provide training, such as Food Hygiene & Safety Training, to staff across our manufacturing sites
• Supporting the prevention and management of HSE incident across all sites as per Compass Ireland’s TRIFR and Food Safety KPIs. 

About You: 

• Degree in Food Science or equivalent 
• Previous experience in a Quality Role / Quality Assistant position 
• You are passionate about quality and ensuring food compliance it held to a high standard. 
• Professional, confident, and enthusiastic team player with a flexible, can-do attitude. 
• Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders 
• Able to work under pressure to manage multiple projects 
• Able to meet strict deadlines by managing own time and workload effectively 
• Full, clean drivers license
