What you’ll do

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering Team. Working in an agile way on a range of projects, you will be involved in the Quality Assurance stage of software development and deployment.
How you’ll do it
Main responsibilities include:
- Manage & maintain existing automation suites
- Managing continuous integration on assigned projects through the execution of manual, automated, functional, Non-functional tests and Data testing.
- Work closely with project team to gather requirement and build the test cases with reusability.
- Work with Project/Release/Sprint teams with the primary focus on effective co-ordination of resolution of outstanding defects in line with Project/Release timeline
- Guide developers, on all QA automation
- Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team.
We are investing significantly into our own digital products built on Azure serverless, microservices solutions, low code (power platform), data infrastructure (lakes, integrations etc) and IoT (Internet of Things). Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
Essential:
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Experience and knowledge of writing and working with automated test tools (C# Postman, AzureDevOps, BDD - SpecFlow, Selenium etc.)
- Experience of testing Azure cloud applications and data solutions
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Scrum framework and developing software in an Agile manner
