Sous Chef
  • £38,000 per annum 
  • 5 out of 7 days per week

Join Our Culinary Team as a Sous Chef!
Are you passionate about food and ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We're seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade! Working in a permanent team of 3 and circa 10 casual Chefs depending on the event, you will showcase your expertise and passion for food bring menus to life!
Jockey Club Catering was formed in 2009 to provide outstanding catering and hospitality at all of The Jockey Club’s racecourses nationwide.   • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Oversee kitchen operations during service hours
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our standards
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Contribute to menu development and innovation

About you:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior cook
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
