Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the running of the SU’s food service
- Providing excellent customer service to our students and university staff on campus
- Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments
- Follow company standards and audit compliance
- Working with the kitchen team to ensure the quality and punctuality of food served
- Assisting in implement sales strategies to maximise revenues for the business
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Our ideal Shift Leader will:
- Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment or someone looking to progress into their first team leading role
- Good communication skills in order to be able to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers within your work environment
- Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulation laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety
- Customer service focused
- Team player and can-do attitude
- Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
