Overview of the role
As Warehouse Operator you will be responsible for overseeing the Warehouse daily operations and ensuring all deliveries are taken in correctly in a timely manner and all paperwork is maintained.
Main Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods
- Ensure all received items match invoices and are in good condition
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments
- Oversee the proper storage and organisation of goods
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to accurately track stock levels
- Dispatching orders
- Warehouse House-keeping
- Control of identity, stocking, and rotation, of product.
- Order Picking and packing.
- Other duties as required by business needs.
Requirements:
- Excellent time keeper.
- Applicants must be able to speak in English.
- Valid Forklift Licence necessary.
- Microsoft Excel proficient.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory management practices.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
