The role:
Working as part of a small team to deliver and put together furniture for rental properties- some days there will be more driving than others- if you are doing local work you will have more installation points and do less driving but other days you might have 2 installation jobs and be delivering to South Wales so there will be more driving.
Installation is unpacking items, placing in the required room, putting together and possibly dressing the room (very rare)- to anyone that doesn't watch the DIY programmes on TV that means making the bed, fluffing some cushions etc to make it more appealing to view- it is very rare that this is required.
Working Mondy to Friday (Apply online only) with the ability to do extra in the busiest periods in July and September which may include a Saturday morning, all overtime is paid.
Requirements for this role:
Previous experience in a similar environment or removals, the ability to communicate on various levels as you may have to collect the keys from the estate agent/property manager. Problem solving ability as you may have to change your delivery order if someone is not in. You must have experience of driving a Luton van and no more than 6 points on your licence- no DR/IN/TT/CD endorsements.
DBS check required.
There is on site parking, work uniform provided and all PPE and tools will be provided.
