The aim now is to dramatically drive the business forward and we are looking for individuals to help us achieve our aim.
With a head office based in Manchester, the business supplies over 1000 forecourt sites across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a defined geographical area, home based and working from a fully equipped company van you will be required to stay away from home on a regular basis and visit Manchester 3 times per month.
The key requirements of the job are:
• Regular merchandising visits to forecourts and convenience stores
• Maximising profits through management of pump top promotions
• Handheld invoicing
• Identifying and opening new customer sites
• Identifying new business opportunities in the sites with related products
• Accuracy a must
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
• A passion for providing excellent customer service Well developed communication and inter-personal skills
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong self-motivation
• Required to stay away from home on occasion and regularly depending on the territory.
• Experience in a similar field sales / Van Sales or merchandising role in the retail convenience sector will be an advantage, but full training will be provided to the successful candidate, plus ongoing support.
