Van Stock Control Officer

Van Stock Control Officer needed in Carlton, Barnsley, £13.10ph PAYE - Reference: 0008 5A62 / 1

Hours of Work: 37 hours a week – core hours are 8am to 4pm
Status of Employment: Fixed Term, 3 months with a possible extension

The Van Stock Control Officer role:

• To monitor and audit materials held on van Stocks
• Carry out daily Van Stock counts and spot check
• Carry out Van Stock training
• Create new Van Stocks for new starters
• Review Van Stock reorder levels
• Pick materials to replenish Van Stocks
• Process picked Van Stock materials
• Investigate and reconcile Van Stock discrepancies
• Liaise with Operations Staff to effectively plan for the provision of Van Stock materials
• Maintain computerised Stock Control systems
• Update and create spreadsheets for analysis
• Uniform, safety boots and a Hi Vis tabard are required at Carlton Depot – these items will be provided
• Handling of materials is required in this role, handling weights of up to 25kg.
• This role is based within a warehouse environment.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
